GTA Series

Gamma Transmission Ashmeter

The GTA-product line is based on the well known Dual Energy Method with nuclear gamma sources of different energies. This method is known to be strongly influenced by changes of the elemental composition of the ash, especially of the calcium and iron content. To reduce these disturbances Indutech developed the Triple Energy Method and solved finally these interferences by a combination of GTA and OXEA®.

GTA is used to determine ash content of Coal.

This device is also available as explosion-proof versions for zones 21 and 22.

Remote Service

Remote service can be provided through internet connection for quick customer support, available for all devices. This saves time and money.

Applications:
Chemical industry, iron ore industry (ore mines and mineral processing plants), wood industry, potash, coal industry (coal, coal, coke, coal power plants), food industry, paper industry, pharmaceutical industry, recycling industry, steel industry, cement industry, other applications on request.

Particle < 300 mm – Other elements as Ca must be constant

GTA 3000-1 / OXEA® 600-1

Measuring Principle:
Dual Energy Gamma Transmission + OXEA® 500

Measured Parameters:
Ash content

Advantages:
Contactless – Compensation of elemental ash composition – Improved accuracy compared to OXEA® 500-1

Limitation:
Particle < 75-100 mm (3“ – 4“) – Distance to surface 70 – 230 mm

GTA 3000-3 / OXEA® 600-3

Measuring Principle:
Dual Energy Gamma Transmission + OXEA® 500

Measured Parameters:
Ash content – Elemental composition of ash for elements with Z>19 (Potassium)

Advantages:
Contactless – Compensation of elemental ash composition – Improved accuracy compared to OXEA® 500-3

Limitation:
Particle < 75-100 mm (3“ – 4“) – Distance to surface 70 – 230 mm
